Terms & Conditions

Please review these terms before confirming your catering order. Final terms are confirmed in writing on enquiry.

Service & Staffing

  • Service hours. Service is 5 hours from team arrival to team departure. If it exceeds 5 hours, charges applicable are doubled, including conveyance per staff member.
  • Food for your personal staff is to be arranged by the host. Leftover food will be handed to the host for staff after all guests have been served.
  • Dishwashing and cleaning staff for parties of fewer than 20 guests will be provided subject to availability. Please check prior to confirming your event.
  • Our team will not serve or reheat any personal food — i.e. any food not prepared in our kitchen or by our staff.
  • Floor cleaning is not under our perusal. Only counter tops and any utensils used will be cleaned. Our team is not responsible for housekeeping or garbage disposal; garbage will not be taken back from the venue.
  • For house parties, please ensure one person from your end monitors the service. This safeguards your personal items and prevents any confusion.
  • Tips, if any, are added to the final bill and divided equally between our back-of-house and front-of-house staff.

Payment

Advance — 50%To confirm event

A 50% advance is required to confirm and secure your event date.

Balance — 50%Day of event

The remaining 50% balance is due on the same day of the event, before the set-up is cleared.

  • In case of cash payments, please hand it over to the concerned staff member in a sealed envelope. Loose cash will not be accepted.

Cancellation Policy

The advance is not refunded, but can be used towards your next event.

Within 24 hours of event35% of advance forfeited

35% of the advance is forfeited as a cancellation fee. The remaining 15% is not refunded but can be used towards your next event.

Grazing Table Specifics

Grazing tables are a distinct, one-time setup service. The following additional terms apply.

  • Setup window. The grazing table is set up within 30–40 minutes of team arrival. If the team has to wait beyond that, charges will be applied.
  • One-time setup. Grazing tables are a one-time setup by our team. If staff are requested to stay throughout the event, extra charges will apply.
  • Platter return. All platters are to be cleaned and handed over by the host at a suitable time decided by the host and the Grub Club team, the same or following day.
  • Any crockery broken or damaged will have to be replaced or compensated for during collection.
  • Food not prepared by The Grub Club will not be placed in our crockery or set up by our team. Please arrange crockery for such items. Our team will not serve or plate any personal food.
  • Grazing menus include gourmet and international cheese, dips and savoury bites as selected. Cheese is served with gluten-free crackers, seasonal fruits, nuts and olives.

Minimums

  • Kids' live stations (e.g. Pav Bhaji Fondue) require a minimum of 40 guests for the station to operate.
